He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas & Ruby Gilley, wife Betty Jo Gilley, son Neal Gilley, brother Tommy Ray Gilley, and sister Nancy Pratt. He is survived by his sons Thomas Gilley of Jasper and Hershel Gilley & wife Elizabeth of Texarkana, Arkansas brothers John Gilley & wife Wanda of Jasper, Marvin Gilley of Kirbyville, and Everett Gilley of Kirbyville sisters Annie Mae Ferguson of Center and Marie Yvonne Dolberg of Kirbyville as well as seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. A lover of the outdoors, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and classic country music. He was born and raised in Kirbyville and lived in Hardin County for several years prior to moving to Jasper. on Thursday prior to the service.Įlmer was born on to Thomas & Ruby Gilley in Kirbyville, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents William & Allie Kellum, brothers Milton Kellum and Jim Kellum, and a son-in-law Randy Brignac. He is survived by his wife Linda Kellum of Jasper daughters Janet Renee Musgraves & husband Billy of DeRidder, Louisiana and Susan Annette Brignac of Sulphur, Louisiana grandchildren Eric Brignac, Shane Brignac, and Billy “BJ” Musgraves as well as great grandchildren Baylor, Kylor, Audra, Natalie, & Ben. He met the love of his life, Linda, in high school and married her on Jat Erin Missionary Baptist Church. Most of all Jack loved his family, especially when they could all be together. He was a proud and loyal member of Erin Missionary Baptist Church, a church he loved. Jack loved the outdoors, fishing, and hunting, but he was later known for his daily Facebook inspirational posts and words of encouragement, and his stellar word skills with Words with Friends. A life-long Jasper native and a Jasper High School Graduate, he was also co-owner of J & J Trucking. Jack was born on Februto William & Allie Kellum in Jasper, Texas. The family will greet friends on Friday, Jfrom 4:00 p.m. at Erin Missionary Baptist Church with interment to follow at Erin Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Melinda Joy Coker Weeks of Jasper sons Kevin Michael Weeks & wife Denise of Sour Lake and Joshua Kalyn Weeks of Lufkin daughters Amanda Jill Weeks Tully & husband Marshall of Jasper, Melissa May Weeks of Jasper, and Amy Elizabeth Weeks of China sisters Kari Coker & fiancé Robert Perkins of Jasper, Kim Guillory & husband Dennis of Lumberton, and Kandi Oliver of Nederland grandchildren Gavin, Luke, Matthias, Hadley, Reagan, Kadence, Patrick, & Bailey. On February 14, 1993, he married Melinda Joy Coker and built a family that he truly loved. A true lover of the outdoors, he enjoyed fishing, boating, motorcycles, guns, swords, and especially Sasquatch. He worked as a maintenance mechanic for Texas Department of Transportation and retired in 2010. A native and long-time resident of Burkeville and Jasper, he graduated high school from Burkeville in 1978. Kevin was born on Novemin Jasper to Joice Leland Weeks and Mary Alice Davis. The family will greet friends on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home with a private interment to be held at Weeks Chapel Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, Jat 3:00 p.m. Kevin "Weasel" Weeks, 63, of Jasper passed away on Thursday, Jat Woodland Heights in Lufkin, Texas.
